Definition of Class

This position creates and implements strategies to be used in the promotion of athletic programs and recruiting campaigns. The incumbent develops and executes creative content for assigned programs and serves as a content and branding specialist.

Examples of Work Performed

  • Assists with the enhancement of the athletic brand by developing creative recruitment campaigns, graphics, and images for assigned athletic program(s).
  • Creates and approves creative content based on established branding guidelines.
  • Serves as liaison with Ole Miss Sports Productions in designing graphics and assisting with production and distribution of graphic designs.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and directs recruiting photoshoots and produces related graphics.
  • Collaborates with coaches and support staff of assigned athletic program(s) to discuss vision and implementation of recruitment campaigns.
  • Processes, prioritizes and schedules content requests.
  • Produces digital images and visual material for use on multiple platforms that support assigned team’s recruitment efforts.
  • Coordinates daily activities associated with graphic design and recruiting materials.
  • Ensures quality, creative, and brand consistency for projects.
  • Stays abreast of new techniques and technology related to design and athletic recruitment strategies.
  • Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, Southeastern Conference, and
  • NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned.

Essential Functions

  1. Creates and implements strategies to be used in the promotion of sports programs and recruiting campaigns.
  2. Develops and executes creative content for assigned athletic programs.
  3. Serves as a content and branding specialist.

Minimum Education/Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

AND

Experience:
One (1) year of experience related to the above described duties.
