Definition of Class
This position researches, prepares, communicates and organizes information, conducts background checks, serves as a liaison to the academic support team, and participates in the recruitment of prospective student athletes. The incumbent prepares and edits film of prospective student athletes, serves as an academic support liaison, and participates in campus recruitment activities.
Examples of Work Performed
- Solicits, gathers, reviews, and edits information on prospective student athletes to include conduction of background analysis.
- Reviews and edits multi-media clips of prospective student athletes.
- Communicates summary information to respective coaches.
- Organizes student athlete clips by position.
- Develops recruiting boards and communicates with the recruiting position coach on recruiting board adjustments.
- Composes summary comments for input within the ACS Compliance system.
- Manages the schedule of the prospective student athletes during campus visits.
- Assists with game day recruiting activities and campus tours.
- Ensures completion and submission of forms in compliance with NCAA and SEC Conference regulations.
- Participates in the coordination of off-campus recruiting schedules and events.
- Assists with the distribution of football camp information.
- Participates in the management of NCAA compliance surrounding the camps.
- Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, Southeastern Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Functions

Minimum Education/Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
AND
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.
Substitution Statement:
Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
