Position Description
The Department of History (http://history.olemiss.edu/) at the University of Mississippi invites applications for the position of Instructor of American History. This is a permanent appointment beginning August 2023, and the teaching load is 4/4. PhD, with a specialization in nineteenth-century American history, is required prior to appointment. Duties will include teaching undergraduate courses in American, Public, and Digital history.
This position will be open until filled or an adequate applicant pool is reached. Women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
