The School of Business Administration seeks qualified applicants for an Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration. This position administers the business affairs for the School including managing all accounts and expenditures, monitoring funding sources, creating long-term budgets, preparing and maintaining detailed financial reports, advising senior administration on all financial matters, ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws, and other related duties as assigned.
Job Role Summary
1. Manages the business and financial affairs of the School of Business.
2. Prepares reports and financial statements.
3. Ensures compliance with University policies and procedures.
4. Supervises and directs the activities of a support staff.
Position Details
Appointment: 12 Month
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a Doctorate from an AACSB accredited Business School. Must have excellent computer skills including advanced spreadsheet skills, excellent written and verbal skills, strong organization and problem-solving skills, some knowledge of accounting software programs, and significant experience in budgeting and financial management in a complex organization.
The position also requires expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word in particular) and strong communication skills (written and verbal). Title is contingent on expertise and educational qualifications.
