Job Information

Associate R&D Chemist to perform chemical reactions to synthesize fluorinated compounds for biological evaluation.  This is a temporary position.


Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to design and implement research plans as well as follow existing experimental protocols and procedures. Separation and purification of organic compounds is required. Knowledge of analytical tools and techniques such as NMR, IR, mass spectrometry, and HPLC is also required for the assignments of chemical structures. Needs be able to cooperate and collaborate with other laboratory researchers and scientists. Attendance at weekly meetings to communicate results of experiments is required. Candidates should have experience in academic or industrial research laboratories.

Minimum Education/Experience

B.S. Degree in Chemistry or related degree.
