Position Description
The University of Mississippi, Patterson School of Accountancy seeks to fill two non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate or Clinical Full Professor positions beginning the fall semester 2026. Subject to availability, there may be opportunities for summer teaching or research funding. Clinical faculty members play a vital role in the Patterson School of Accountancy. Teaching responsibilities for these two positions will take place primarily on the Oxford campus. One of the two positions will be responsible for teaching in the area of accounting information systems and analytics at the graduate level. The second position will teach in the area of financial, cost/managerial, or governmental and nonprofit at the undergraduate level.

Minimum Qualifications
An earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited university, a CPA, and university teaching experience are required for this position. ABD candidates in advanced stages of their dissertation with expected degree completion of no later than one year from their employment date will be considered. The successful applicant will be dedicated to excellent teaching, professional service, and research engagement.

About the Patterson School of Accountancy:
The Patterson School offers the Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation, Master of Accountancy and Data Analytics, Master of Taxation and Data Analytics, and Ph.D. in Accountancy.
