Position Details

The Ole Miss Athletics Marketing & Fan Experience Department is seeking one (1) graduate assistant for the 2025-2026 & 2026-2027 academic years. This unique position will allow for the selected candidate to gain hands-on experience in the intercollegiate sports industry. The selected candidate will assist Ole Miss Athletics in growing its brand and fanbase, while improving the overall gameday fan experience in the most competitive landscape in collegiate athletics, the Southeastern Conference.

 

Responsibilities will consist of assisting in all aspects of athletics marketing including but not limited to:
· Oversee marketing efforts for select Olympic sports and serve in a secondary role on revenue-producing sports
· Assist with digital marketing campaigns inclusive of email, social media, and digital advertising
· Creation and execution of gameday scripts
· Design and distribution of all marketing collateral and promotions
· Increase exposure, boost attendance and enhance the gameday experience at assigned varsity sports
· Develop, monitor and maintain the Rebel Kids Club program
· Manage and increase participation in the Rebel Rewards program
· Manage assigned intern staff

 

Qualifications:
· Job contingent on admission into the Ole Miss Graduate School and the completion of a successful background check.
· Candidates must be enrolled full time (Must maintain 9 hours/semester and cannot exceed 9 hours/semester; cannot be online only program)
· Experience within a sports organization preferred
· Summer work required (Extended break(s) are provided)
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· High-energy work ethic
· Ability and willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holiday breaks
 

Student Wages

Compensation: This is a (24) month position; $1,355 per month stipend position (subject to change based on University policy), Graduate School scholarship to cover 100% of regular Graduate School tuition and non-resident fee.
