Position Description

Ole Miss Athletics strives to advance a championship culture that develops, educates and empowers our student-athletes while providing a premier experience for the Ole Miss family.

 


This position develops and executes creative content for assigned athletic programs. The incumbent organizes, creates, designs, and executes a variety of complex video content to market program appeal; oversees activities associated with graphic design; implements social media strategies for marketing and recruiting; and serves as a lead for creative projects.
 

Ole Miss Men's Basketball is conducting a search for a Manager of Creative Content. This position develops and executes creative content for the Men's Basketball program. The incumbent organizes, creates, designs, and executes a variety of complex video content to market program appeal; oversees activities associated with graphic design; implements social media strategies for marketing and recruiting; and serves as a lead for creative projects.
 

 

Examples of Work Performed
•    Prepares complex, high profile video based productions from conception to delivery of final product.
•    Organizes, creates, designs, and executes a variety of complex video projects.
•    Produces athletic teams' vlog series.
•    Creates motivational videos for team film sessions.
•    Coordinates and oversees daily activities associated with graphic design and recruiting materials.
•    Serves as liaison with Ole Miss Sports Productions in designing graphics and assisting with production and distribution of graphic designs.
•    Stays abreast of current projects and publications, as necessary, to produce appropriate marketing materials.
•    Serves as team leader for internal and external creative projects.
•    Provides guidance and direction for support staff.
•    Utilizes social media for recruiting and marketing campaigns.
•    Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, Southeastern Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
•    Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

 

 

Essential Functions

3.    Implements strategies for marketing and recruiting purposes.
4.    Provides guidance and direction for support staff.
 

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
AND
Experience:
One (1) years of experience related to the above described duties.
