Position Description
This position researches, prepares, communicates and organizes prospective student athlete information and assists with the recruitment of prospective student athletes. The incumbent solicits, gathers, reviews and organizes information on prospective student athletes., and participates in campus recruitment activities.
Examples of Work Performed:
- Solicits, gathers, reviews and edits information on prospective student athletes.
- Reviews and edits multi-media clips of prospective student athletes.
- Organizes student athlete clips by position.
- Develops recruiting boards and communicates with the recruiting position coach on recruiting board adjustments.
- Manages the schedule of the prospective student athletes during campus visits.
- Assists with game day recruiting activities and campus tours.
- Ensures completion and submission of forms in compliance with NCAA and SEC Conference regulations.
- Participates in the coordination of off-campus recruiting schedules and events.
- Assists with the distribution of brochures detailing football camp information.
- Participates in the management of NCAA compliance surrounding the camps.
- Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, Southeastern Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Functions
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
- Prepares and edits film of prospective student athletes.
- Communicates and organizes information pertaining to prospective student athletes.
- Participates in campus recruitment activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
AND
Experience:
One (1) year of experience related to the above described duties.
Substitution Statement:
Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
