Role Summary
This position serves as a representative for the Law School at national, regional, and local recruiting events. The incumbent establishes and maintains relationships with prospective and admitted students to help them navigate the law school admissions process. These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
- Represents the Law School at various recruitment events for prospective students.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with prospective and admitted students to assist them with the law school admissions process.
- Plans and executes online and in-person recruiting events.
Examples of Work Performed
- Represents the Law School at universities, fairs, and forums to recruit students to the JD program.
- Coordinates and attends online panels and other online programs.
- Plans and executes recruiting events.
- Fields inquiries from prospective students by email and phone.
- Completes various administrative tasks associated with recruitment.
- Acts as a liaison to other departments on campus in assisting students with admissions processes.
- Assists the Director of Admissions with projects as required.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Functions
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
1. Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities; may specialize in a specific target population, such as veterans, transfer students, or non-traditional students.
2. Receives, evaluates and responds to freshman and transfer student applications according to established policies and procedures.
3. Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events.
4. Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution.
5. Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement.
6. Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals.
7. Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences.
8. Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: (3) Three Years Experience
