Position Details

The Ole Miss Student Media Center is open to every student regardless of major or classification. Students can work with Rebel Radio, OMTV/NewsWatch, the Daily Mississippian newspaper, or The Ole Miss yearbook.

The Ole Miss Student Media Center is looking for students to distribute the Daily Mississippian newspaper across campus and along routes in Oxford. The newspaper is published once a week; distribution happens by 7:00 each Thursday morning. You must have your own reliable transportation. Delivery crew are paid for each completed route.

Delivery crew pick up Daily Mississippian newspapers from the drop site and deliver a set number of papers/bundles to various buildings and spots around campus or Oxford, depending on the worker's route. Each delivery person is assigned a specific route for which papers are set onto a DM rack, loaded into a DM distribution box, or delivered to a building's door. The delivery worker then submits a checked and signed report confirming that the papers were successfully delivered to the Student Media Center. Routes are to be completed by 7:00 on the day the DM is distributed.

Student Wages

Pays $40 for each completed campus route, $50 for each completed city route.
