Position Description

 

The School of Journalism & New Media anticipates filling some part-time/time-limited teaching positions at the adjunct faculty level for the 2023-2024 academic year in the following areas: Video Storytelling, Advertising, Public Relations, Integrated Marketing Communications, Sports Journalism, and Writing for Communications Fields.

 
Description:
Provide instruction for designated course(s). Develop assignments, create assessments, and actively support student learning. Write and proctor examinations. Provide feedback and instruction for examinations and assignments. Calculate and post mid-term and final grades. Other duties as assigned.

 
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum requirements for teaching an undergraduate course: master's degree in field. Minimum requirements for teaching graduate course: doctorate in field.
 


Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree and one year of college teaching experience preferred.
