Definition of Class
This position provides academic instruction and study skills to students individually or in small groups.
Applications for this position will continue to be accepted for on-going hiring needs until 12/31/24.
Examples of Work Performed
- Provides individual or small group academic instruction and study skills.
- Monitors the progress of the students.
- Maintains confidential records and other documentation.
- Stays abreast of and assures adherence to NCAA, SEC, and University rules and regulations as it relates to position.
- Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with University, SEC Conference, and NCAA rules.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Functions
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
- Assists students in academic instruction and study skills for various subject areas.
Minimum Education/Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Substitution Statement:
Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
