Definition of Class
This position coordinates and participates in video production activities. The incumbent captures, edits, and delivers high quality video productions; communicates with faculty, staff, students, and/or clients to determine video needs; performs routine maintenance to video equipment and makes recommendations for major repairs or replacement of equipment. This is position works under the supervision of the Producer/Director.
Examples of Work Performed
- Shoots and edits video footage for high-quality institutional productions.
- Performs routine maintenance to video equipment and makes recommendations for major repairs or replacement of equipment.
- Communicates with faculty, staff, students, and/or clients to determine video needs.
- Utilizes the videography/audio equipment to capture events for the University.
- Provides supervision and guidance to student interns/graduate assistants.
- Assists Producer/Director in development and execution of institutional productions.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
- Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with University, SEC Conference, and NCAA rules.

Minimum Education/Experience
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience:
Two (2) years’ experience related to the above described duties.
