Position Description

 

The University of Mississippi School of Law invites applications and nominations for visiting professors during the Spring 2024 semester to teach courses in business law. Appointments will be at the rank of visiting assistant, visiting associate, or visiting full professor depending on experience.

 

A candidate must have a JD or PhD or equivalent degree and a commitment to teaching in an environment dedicated to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students. We look for innovative faculty with a preference for both practice and teaching experience. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to service to legal education and to the wider community as well as a desire to engage in the intellectual life of the Law School.

 

Located among the rolling hills of Northern Mississippi, the University of Mississippi's main campus is centered in Oxford, Miss., about 70 miles south of Memphis, Tenn.
